How can i shut down my Huawei Ascend when its froze?

my Huawei Ascend is froze up. theres no way to take the battery out and the power on does nothing. my Huawei Ascend is froze up. theres no way to take the battery out and the power on does nothing. how can i shut down my Huawei Ascend?
