I'm afraid to tell my parents that I think I have depression...?

What? Too young? Hon, depression isn't a build up of things over your life that cause you to be depressed. It's not even that you're more at risk to act badly to those things because your parents did. Clinical depression can present itself in emotionally disabled children as early as 6 years old. Not to say you're emotional disabled, but if it is a concern, get help. Seriously. Don't tell your parents for a while if you don't want. Tell someone who is a professional. GET. HELP. And if you're nervous about seeing a shrink, you'd be surprised how many people you know that probably already have too. So please, go get help. Talk to someone.
