How do i stop my amine coon kitten from bitten me?

hi seems to want to play rough with me what can i do to stop it i say no and pat him on head very lightly and say no but it does not seem to work his birthday was may 16 2011 and i did get the CFA papers yesterday in the mail so he is a full breed maine coon i got him for $400 in uxbridge pickering from dream coons but i want to know how can i stop his bitten ?? but his brother want bite at all but this one does and is it normal that sometimes he would meow but you would not hear it?
