How can I update the rosters on Madden 09 for ps3 for the 2010 season?

i have had madden 09 and i want to update it so that Sanchez is on the Jets, Favre is on the Vikings, and Cutler is on the Bears. How do i do it please help. I went to play now and it didnt say would u like to update rosters.
