Should i add this guy i like on facebook?

I loke this guy in my college cl but he does not know. i dont know if he has a girlfriend or not. i added one of the girls in my college cl on facebook last night and i found him on her page as i kkow they are good friend. (i dont know her very well) i didnt know if i should add him or not as i heard he has some weirrd pics and i didnt want to think hes werid, pils i dont think he likes me back and dont wnat to get hurt if he has a girlfriend. What should i do? dont say therea only one way to find out by adding him cause i know alll that. please help
