Why milk at end of the Indy race ?

It was started by Louis Meyer after winning the 1936 race. His mother had always told him that ermilk was good to refresh you, so that's what he drank. Subsequently, winners have chosen what kind of milk they want and there is actually a cooler with each driver's choice at the winner's circle so they can be ready no matter who wins.
