Could we survive an Asteroid as big as North America?

No,Depending On the Speed of the Asteroid and how far it came from and when an Asteroid comes into earths Atmosphere it really starts to get faster and hotter so I guess if it landed on earth on some part of region im sure that we will all survive but where the Asteroid Lands that would be bad luck who ever is there.
